Hoof Boots for Show Horses

I am a Cavallo hoof boot believer. My horse is on his second pair. My APHA gelding shows competitively in western pleasure classes and cannot wear the boots while showing, but they have been invaluable to me for turnout protection. I know that the boots are designed for barefoot horses, but I use them over his shod front feet to protect against springing his shoes or pulling them off and creating a lot of damage to the hoof. I have recommended them to several friends who were not able to show their horses because a shoe was sprung or pulled just prior to a show while they were turned out. Cavallo hoof boots have kept me in the show ring and for that I’m thankful!
