Dream Riders is a non-profit 501-C-3 incorporated Premier Accredited Center of NARHA, North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, designed specifically to provide physical, emotional, and recreational benefits for both children and adults with mental and/or physical disabilities. Cavallo donated a set of size 2 hoof boots for one of our Therapeutic Riding Horses, “Chucky”. He is a 25 year old racking horse that had foundered before coming to Dream Riders. He has been with us since the beginning, 1998, and loves his job.
When shoes were no longer working for him we turned to barefoot trimming and Cavallo boots. This has made it possible for him to continued to be useful to the program. Many Autistic riders love his choppy gait! He had worn out his original set of Cavallo boots and was is in need of a new pair. Thanks Cavallo for donating these hoof boots and letting a good horse do his job.
