I just got the SIMPLE Hoof Boots and tried them on both horses. I rode Jake (the one with sore feet all the time) on ALL surfaces, at ALL gaits and for 2 hours. He took about five minutes to get used to them and then he was fine. No soreness, limping or ouchiness. THEY ARE FANTASTIC!!!!! No more metal shoes EVER. I always wondered what damage they were doing to my horse’s feet (metal shoes) because a friend of mine had a horse come down with all kinds of problems from poorly fitted shoes. She ended up becoming a blacksmith so she could do her OWN horses.

I wanted to give the barefoot thing a really good trial before I gave up and went back to metal shoes, but it was not working for Jake. Billy’s feet are tougher and they worked great on him too. He has been able to go barefoot, but not without occasional soreness. These Boots are the perfect compromise!!! The fit is perfect and they are SUPER easy to get on and off. I am so happy!!!! And if Billy ever gets a puss pocket again, no more duct tape and feed bags!!!! That alone is worth every penny. I will be telling all my friends and customers about them.
