If you are near Lexington, Kentucky from March 23-26th, then you must stop in at the event, Road To The Horse! One of our most valued partners in the Cavallo community, Valley Vet, will have a booth set up at this amazing event. I want to personally send you an invitation to visit Kathy Klover at booth 208 and 209 as she will be the Cavallo expert on site.

Road to the Horse

Road To The Horse was started by Steven and Tootie Bland, who wanted to spread the message with the world to “create a relationship which is based on a foundation of trust with the horse, and everything else can be accomplished”. Attendee’s of this event get to experience an abundance of knowledge that has a lifetime of passion which has driven the elite clinicians from all over the world to face off for the World Championship of the Colt Starting Title, the Jack Brainard Horsemanship Award, and the Traveler Award. They also get to watch up close the development of partnerships, triumphs as well as setbacks, and the competitors building a relationship with an untouched 3-year-old American Quarter Horse.

The Jack Brainard Horsemanship award excels in the trainers individual  power of observation to correctly analyze the best way to go about and then to apply their method for the horse’s best interest.

The Road to the Horse Award is the most coveted titles among all the offerings in this industry. The competitor gets amazing prizes as well as the championship title. The winning colt gets the honor noted on the colts record permanently with AQHA. Both the rider and the ranch that bred the colt, receive the Travelers Award named after the horse Traveler who was inducted into the AQHA in 1994.
