UPDATE on Team Canada at Youth World Cup

Happy Canada Day!

As Canadians celebrate their nation’s birthday, we’d like to also celebrate Team Canada as they compete at the 20th American Quarter Horse Association Youth World Cup in Australia.

The competition started on June 26 and continues to July 3.   You can watch the live broadcasts at

Team Canada 2016Here’s a list of how Team Canada has performed thus far:

*Haley Franc placed 5th in Show A Cutting and 2nd in Show B Cutting

*Hanna Buijs placed in 7th Show A Trail

*MacKenzie Inksater placed 7th in Show A Hunt Seat Equitation and 10th in Show A Horsemansip

*Megan Komori Kennedy placed 9th in Show A Hunt Seat Equitation, 10th in Show A Hunter Under Saddle and 6th in Show A Horsemanship

*Madison Holmes placed 10th in Show A Hunt Seat Equitation
