Speaking at Equine Affaire

AT Last the bleachers were full!

This was truly a magnificent turn out for my talk at Equine Affaire in Massachusetts last week.

It wasn’t just that over 500 people came to listen to me speak about the reasons and ways to care for barefoot horses, it was the variety of motives for being there.

The truth is, a lot of people really want to keep their horses naturally barefoot and booted, but they just don’t know where to start and how to be supported.  I am happy to guide them through and offer the support of our team here at Cavallo. All of us are committed to facilitating a successful program for the health and welfare of horses.

New to the mix of attendees, were several “specialists”: veterinarians, doctors and farriers who loved the authentication that my presentations provide. For them, I quote one of my favorite poets: “When I tell the truth, it is not for the sake of convincing those who don’t know it, but for defending those who do.”

Present and accounted for were many great advocates: Cavallo customers, trimmers and supporters of all kinds, who simply wanted to be together with like minded folks.

It’s felt like a breakthrough and a tipping point!

It’s a break through the long held beliefs that we must nail metal into feet to protect them. It is encouraging. It’s inspirational. And we are not alone. Our numbers are growing as we are surely doing the right thing. It’s amazing and true. The right thing always comes out and we are at the fore front, blazing the trail for those who ride along behind us. Go Team Cavallo!
