Guess Who’s a Finalist for the EQUINE VISION AWARD?
Since 2002, the prestigious Equine Industry Vision Award (EIVA) has honored 18 individuals and five organizations that exemplify outstanding visionary achievements or sustained contributions that have profoundly impacted the equine industry. The award recognizes ingenuity and service to the equine industry by inspiring these qualities in others.
The committee has narrowed the nominations to just four finalists, including Carole Herder, founder and president of Cavallo, due to her dedication to helping all horses move well while barefooted and booted.
The 2025 Equine Industry Vision Award winner will be announced at the American Horse Publications Conference in Dallas, Texas, on May 16!
Saying Goodbye to Our Friend Christine
In Loving Memory of Christine
It is with heavy hearts that we share the recent passing of our dear colleague and friend, Christine Mutch. Christine had been a valued member of the Cavallo family for many years. In fact, her journey with us began as the silk screen contractor during the early days, when I was designing rider garments.
She passed unexpectedly due to a series of unforeseen complications while in the hospital. Christine is survived by her loving husband and three sons.
She was cherished by our entire Cavallo team and by countless riders and horses whose lives were enriched by her deep knowledge of hoof care, her passion for barefoot horses, and her belief in the benefits of Cavallo Boots.
Our hearts go out to Christine’s beloved family, animals and friends. Christine will always be remembered with love, and her absence is deeply felt by us all.
