???? These Boots Were Made for Walking… Right Up to a Rhino!
How cool is this? Touran Bristow (@touranbristow on Instagram) captured this surprising interaction while out riding in South Africa! Note: The rider was on another horse when this happened, and this was in the wild – these two animals had never interacted before.
Curiousity got the better of us, so we hired professional Hollywood lip readers to interpret what they were saying to each other in the video:
Rhino (snorting): “Hello there. And just who the heck are you?”
Horse (proudly): “I’m only the friendliest horse in South Africa!”
Rhino (eyeing the horse’s hooves): “Well, you certainly have some fine footwear to show off! What do you call those?
Horse: “Oh, these? These are Cavallo Hoof Boots—only the best for trailblazing, mud-cruising, and, apparently, rhino-meeting!”
Rhino: “Fancy! So they make you extra brave, huh?”
