There are very few people who truly change the world for horses. Monty Roberts was one of them.
Known around the globe as The Man Who Listens to Horses, Monty dedicated his life to proving that horses respond to trust, patience and understanding far better than force. His groundbreaking method inspired a worldwide movement toward kinder horsemanship, influencing everyone from first-time horse owners to Olympic riders, veterinarians, world leaders and even Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who became both a student and lifelong supporter of his work. Through his books, demonstrations and teaching, Monty helped millions of us see horses differently—not as animals to be controlled, but as willing partners waiting to be understood. For Greg and me, Monty wasn’t only a legend—he was a treasured friend. Our friendship began with a phone call completely out of the blue. But HOW do Cavallos Stay Put?
When a horse moves like Sasha, hoof boots face pressure from every direction. When a horse pivots, bucks or powers off the ground, a hoof boot is subjected to twisting, sideways and upward forces all at once. So why do properly fitted Cavallo Hoof Boots stay put? It begins with their carefully designed conical shape, which follows the hoof’s natural contours to hold it securely within the boot. The hoof is fully enclosed, while the inner padded, foam-lined bulb area moulds to the horse’s individual shape after break-in, creating a snug, customized fit.

For 15 consecutive years, their dedication has carried them into the internationally renowned Calgary Stampede Parade—an extraordinary achievement for this volunteer-driven team and their beautifully prepared horses.
