“It’s that time of year when I send y’all some pics and a story from my winter riding in the harshest horse foot environment there is: Arizona, USA. I’m staying over in Sedona this year – land of the red rocks – and am totally in love with the area. I thank heavens I have my Cavallos though. True story. When other folks are putting their horses up with sore feet from riding in this volcanic but beautiful landscape? I just keep on keepin’ on.

I’m currently in my second season with these boots (all four) and estimate they have over 250 miles (402 km) on them. I make sure to hose them off and get the grass and mud out of the velcro after every use and I am SO glad the outside velcro straps are easily replaceable because they for SURE take a beating going thru the catclaw and brush. Well done Cavallo !!

I would be at home sitting on a chair eating myself into fat-ness if I didn’t have Cavallos. Seriously. I’m a barefooter and don’t like shoes on my mule. These friggen things have thick tough soles (don’t ever make them with rubber softer) AND STAY ON! And that is a lot more than I can say for the other brands I’ve tried.”

“Today, a Desert Bighorn Sheep sighting, while crossing a technical portion of the Desperado Loop Trail, Peralta Regional Park, Gold Canyon Arizona, east of Phoenix, with great grip in our Cavallo Trek boots, all around. Sheep on the hill just above us.

Then yesterday in much mud at Picketpost Mountain riding the Arnet and Telegraph Canyon Trails with the rivers running from the rains last week. Boots stayed on perfectly in all 3 paces while wet. here is an example of some of the terrain we have ridden for the past three months. These same 4 boots were already in use at home for close to a year when we arrived in the desert in Nov.

I no longer worry about boots…we also cross the salt river and then canter the sandy washes, while the river water drains out. No problems at all.”
