Cavallo Hoof Boots in Mud & Water

Cavallo Hoof Boots perform exceptionally well in water, mud, slushy snow and other wet conditions, due to their patented, performance-driven design. The boots feature side drainage holes and a cone-shaped upper that mirrors a horse’s hoof, further preventing suction in muddy or submerged conditions. They allow water to flow out freely while keeping debris outside of the boot. Because of this, riders trust Cavallo in streams, rivers, mud, and even ocean water. The boots stay secure, protect the hoof, and maintain traction in slippery environments.

Using Cavallo Hoof Boots in Wet Conditions

Many hoof boots struggle in wet or muddy conditions due to suction issues or the weight of heavy materials. However, Cavallo Hoof Boots feature a unique cone-shaped upper that naturally minimizes the shape of your horse’s hooves. As a result, this special design and drainage holes break suction naturally as your horse lifts their hoof, preventing boot loss.

Not only does this make a big difference in traction and comfort, but it also prevents the boots from being pulled off during movement through soft, muddy, or wet terrain.

Further, Cavallo’s materials are flexible yet supportive, which helps the boot maintain its shape even after repeated use in wet environments. Consequently, Riders report that their Cavallo boots perform exceptionally well in flooded pastures, on slick trails, and through deep rivers and water crossings!

With Cavallo Hoof Boots, your horse stays confident on all terrain, including water. Moreover, you won’t need to worry about suction-related issues like twisting, dragging, or boot loss. That means more time riding and less time fixing problems!

Cavallo Hoof Boots Stay On in Water… and Quicksand!!

“Last summer I was riding with a friend on an asphalt trail. I had front Cavallo boots on so my horse didn’t chip his hooves. It was hot out and we decided to take a side path down to the river to get them a drink. At the bank of the river, my gelding, Uno, suddenly sunk up to his belly in quicksand and rotted leaves! I quickly stepped off. After a few minutes of struggling, he was able to pull himself out. I thought for sure his boots would be gone, but no, there they were, still firmly attached! I couldn’t believe it! Thank you for making a great product!”

Cavallo Hoof Boots Stay On Through Water and Other Terrain!

“I was able to get a photo of Casper my 17 year old Appaloosa with his 4 cavallo boots. Fronts are Treks and rears are Simples.

As Casper is on a barefoot rehabilitation journey , trail riding him through any terrain would have been impossible without these boots. He’s happiest when he’s on the trail, me too!!!

My heart hurt knowing that we wouldn’t be able to ride out together much during his barefoot rehab. I’m so grateful for Cavallo boots!

We went over rocky terrain, mud, sand, and even crossed a creek and they stayed on. Whereas 2 other horses who wore different brand name boots had boots fall off during the ride.

Thanks again Cavallo!!! Casper appreciates his booties”
